Mike Barkley is the former CEO of KIND Snacks and a current Board Director at The Honest Company.
Mike is a purpose-driven servant leader with a 30-year track record of building high-performance teams, driving transformational change, and creating enduring value at leading consumer product companies such as PepsiCo, Johnson & Johnson, and Campbell’s. At KIND, Mike succeeded founder Daniel Lubetzky as CEO and led the company into and through a new era of growth and expansion, culminating in the $5B sale of KIND to Mars in late 2020.
Since leaving KIND, Mike has leveraged his deep operating experience and knowledge as a board director and senior advisor. He is also actively involved with several organizations in the areas of education, faith formation, leadership development, and social justice.
Mike earned a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of North Carolina.
